This idioms challenge includes a PDF with seven English idioms commonly used in business settings. Can you figure out their meanings from the context?

EnglishHints has a whole section on common English idioms. But to really learn them, it helps to concentrate on a few of the most important ones until you've learned them..
That's why I developed this challenge, so you can focus on a few idioms at a time. (If you want to follow up, learn seven more sports idioms, then check out the other pages or contact me for other especially useful ones.)
Each idiom is given in context-- a sentence or two giving the idiom as it might be used in a business discussion.
For example, for the idiom pictured on the cover, the sentence is "Before we get into the details, we need to ensure we’re all on the same page about what we have authority to decide.”
Then you can choose the most likely meaning from three possible options.
At the end of the PDF, you can check your answers-- and learn a little more about the idioms' backgrounds.
To get the most from this idioms challenge, think of ways you might use each idiom-- and look for ways to include them in conversations.
Do you have similar idioms or proverbs in your first language?
(Be sure to scroll down the form below to check the two boxes so that Brevo can send you the link to the PDF.)
